Women's

In cycling, whether its on the road or off, fit is the most important thing. If a bike doesn't fit, it's not worth owning. It's better to ride a $300 bike that fits properly than a $3000 bike that doesn't. And the sad fact is that for many, many years, nobody made mountain bikes that fit a lot of women.

Shorter top tubes, longer seat tubes, and taller headtubes makes for a fit that will better accomodate women's (typically) shorter torsos. Trying to ride a bike that's too long will cause back, shoulder, and neck pain as well as ruining the handling of the bike. If the rider's weight is too far behind the front wheel, you're much more likely to loose front wheel traction. That, at best, will cause poor cornering and can cause the rider to crash. Fit makes all the difference for a safe, comfortable ride.

For many female riders, a women's specific bike can be nothing short of a revelation. Many women don't even realize how poorly thier current bike fits until they try one that actually works. We pride ourselves on helping women discover what works best for them. We can help you determine whether your current bike is doing its job, or whether you need to makes some modifications. We have more fit experience than almost any shop in the Northwest, and we are dedicated to making sure every rider leaves with the right machine.
